why use an infrared sauna?

01

LESS INTENSE HEAT

With an infrared sauna session, you'll get all the benefits of a traditional sauna, but at a deeper level and with a less intense temperature.

02

HEAT FROM THE INSIDE OUT

Infrared light heats from the inside out, working at a deeper level in your body.

Heating via infrared light is so efficient and secure that it's used to warm incubators for preemie and newborn babies.

03

ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERYONE

Even people who can't take the heat and humidity of a traditional sauna can benefit from an infrared sauna. And thanks to the lower temperature, it's possible to take a longer session and benefit even more.

  • Lower blood pressure

  • Fight infection

  • Lower stress

  • Improve sleep

  • Manage chronic conditions

  • Glowing skin

infrared vs traditional sauna

01

TEMPERATURE

Traditional saunas heat the ambient air to 85C/185F, which is difficult to tolerate long enough to receive the benefits of the sauna.

Infrared saunas only heat to a temperature of around 60C/140F, which allows you to enjoy your session more completely and comfortably.

02

HEATS FROM THE INSIDE OUT

Traditional saunas have to heat the air so much because it's the temperature of the ambient air which heats you up.

In contrast, infrared saunas use utiliza infrared light to heat your body directly. This penetrating heat means that you sweat more vigorously at a lower temperature.
